Product Details

Knitting pattern for Emily sweater by Katrine Hannibal Emily is a light and airy sweater with a classic fit that suits most bodies. It has an elegant expression, featuring a pretty eyelet pattern that looks like pearls on a string. The sweater is worked in Önling No 21, our wonderful Italian cotton and linen yarn, held together with a strand of Önling No 10, our Silk Mohair. The combination of these two yarns makes a light sweater that will be perfect over your summer dress or a sleeveless top worn with shorts, jeans, or a skirt. Or on the chillier spring or autumn days that require warmer sweaters to keep you snug and warm. The design features ¾ sleeves, which may easily be made longer. The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here. Stitches are cast on using the provisional crochet cast-on method to allow adjusting the size of the neck opening after finishing the project. Short rows are worked across the shoulders and back of the neck to make the back of the neck higher. The yoke is worked with increases. The yoke stitches are then divided into sleeves and body, which are finished separately. Increases are made on the body both at the front and the back to make the sweater wider at the bottom.
