Biography
Atsushi Hashimoto received his B.S. degree in Engineering, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Informatics from the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University, Japan, in 2005, 2008, and 2013, respectively. He is currently a Principal Investigator at OMRON SINIC X Corp. His research focuses on human activity analysis and recognition based on human-object interaction, as well as interface design and development in the field of cooking. His research interests include pattern recognition, computer vision, and human-computer interaction. He is a member of the IEEE, ACM, Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers of Japan, and Information Processing Society of Japan.
