With their new EP ‘Retriever’, Attic Ocean once again take you into dreamy worlds of sound inspired by the shoegaze and indie rock of the 90s. The Düsseldorf-based band, which is often compared to the greats of the scene, combines nostalgic influences with modern elements to create a unique, spherical sound.

‘Retriever’, mastered by Simon Scott from the legendary band Slowdive, shows the consistent further development of their style, which is characterised by shimmering guitars, atmospheric soundscapes and the haunting voice of singer Hanni. The single ‘Lilies And Sea’, accompanied by a music video filmed in Tokyo, reinforces the band's international orientation and combines intimate emotions with vast dreamscapes. With ‘Retriever’, Attic Ocean consolidate their reputation as one of Germany's most exciting shoegaze bands.
