REPETITION EXAM 2016

Photographers will often produce images based on their observations of repeated shapes in nature or the built environment. Careful consideration of viewpoint and composition can produce strong abstract patterns. Objects and images can be arranged to form a repeat pattern. M Galimberti often uses a grid structure to arrange images of the same subject. P de Lory has produced more than one series of photos using repeated shapes found in the landscape. É-J Marey used repetition to record movement.

Instead of showing more rooms, this image shows how shadow can affect non still life things... such as humans. The area we are in does affect us in a sense that we can change the way we feel or the way we act. For example this curvy pattern would make me feel happy and electric comparing to a square block pattern which would make me feel edgy and more contained. ( #creative #stripes #blackandwhite)
