You cook it on the stove top. We transferred it to disposable pans and put it in the fridge because we made it Saturday night, for Sunday dinner. Bigdufus’s Killer Spanish Rice 1½ cup white rice ¼ cup oil ½ cup white onions, diced 1 clove garlic, minced Brown rice in oil. Add onion and garlic. Sauté until onions are soft. Add: 2 cup Chicken Broth 1 cup water 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce Bring all ingredients to a boil.
