Veteran Nursing Sister: 1954
Un-named Canadian Nursing Sister with her WWII decorations: Kodachrome taken at Riverside, Ontario. She trained as a nurse in St. John, New Brunswick, and volunteered for military nursing service. She met her husband (who was in the Canadian army) they met in France in 1944 during the Normandy Invasion, and were married on 26 July 1945 in Paris, France. They had a short honeymoon in France, returned to their units and were re-united in Canada. Posted by her son on Shorpy ~
