My Golden Retriever Teddys Favorite Treat! 4 Ingredient Homemade Dog Treats With Aguyandagolden! | My Golden Retriever Teddys Favorite Treat! 4 Ingredient Homemade Dog Treats With Aguyandagolden! | By Adorable Aiden needs a home | What's up, YouTube? Tonight, we are making Teddys Favorite Dog Treats. It's a homemade recipe with only four ingredients and it's super simple to make. Here is what you need. Okay, for the ingredients, you need two cups of oat flour, a half cup of pumpkin puree, three tablespoons of natural peanut butter. Make sure the peanut butter does not have xylitol and two large eggs. After you've got all the ingredients measured out and ready to go, I find it helpful to have a bowl of dog treats to keep your dog engaged if the food doesn't keep them engaged enough. Before you make anything at home for your dog, especially, you should research the ingredients and make sure that everything is safe for dogs. There are a lot of ingredients that are fine for humans that can be deadly and toxic to dogs. So, research, ask your vet, and do what you need to do to make sure you're making your dog a safe treat. The first thing you do is add in your eggs, your peanut butter, and your pumpkin puree into a bowl, then, you slowly mix in your flour. You can do that by hand but we're going to use our mixing machine. Okay, to start your add your pumpkin, your eggs, and your peanut butter in a bowl. So, we'll do that right now. Or taste. Okay, same. Mouth is watering. Whisk the eggs real quick. Put those in and then, goes in the peanut butter. Now that those three ingredients are in, we're going to mix them up and then we're going to take them over to the mixer. Alright, now we're going to take over to the mixer and put the flour in. Okay, for this step, we're going to mix in the flour to the mixture we just mixed over there. We're letting Teddy take a little break. Probably not a good idea to have him around the mixer. Let's do it. So, you just want to do a little bit at a time if you're using a mixer. Let it get thoroughly mixed. So, once it's done mixing, it's going to be a very hard dough. I'm going to show you how we're going to handle that here in a second. Let's go back over to this side. So, when you're done mixing, it's going to be a very hard dough. You're going to take little pieces of the dough and push it into whatever molds you have or if you just pre bake it, that's fine too. We have these silicone dog treat molds. They're safe for oven temperatures. They're really great. So, we're going to take the dough and press 'em into the molds and I think Teddys probably going to go take another nap again 'cuz if we don't, he will eat all of these. Ready? Okay. Once you press the dough into the molds, it should look like this but make sure not to put too much in the molds or the overflow because it does puff up a little bit during cooking. Okay, once you're ready, you're going to put your mold on a baking sheet. You're going to preheat your oven to 350 and you're going to bake these for 30 minutes. We're going to put them in and let them go. Okay, so at this point, they've been in the oven for 30 minutes. You want to keep your dog far away from the oven because you don't want them to run up and grab something out of the hot oven. We're going to get them out and see how they look. So, you can see they're cracked a little bit. We probably overfilled the silicone mold a little bit. That's okay. That'll be the backside. So, while those cool down and before you let Teddy have a taste test, here are three tips I can give you to make this cooking process easier. Number one, don't fill the molds all the way to the top. If you do, they'll crack a little bit like ours did. Number two, when you're rolling out the dough and pressing into the molds, use some oat flour on your hands. They'll keep it from sticking. Number three, keep your dog away from the oven. Anything moving in the kitchen, anything that can harm them. Alright, so once these pulled for about 10 or 15 minutes. We're going to flip them over so we can get them out of the molds and transfer them to a cooling machine. Alright, so once he's cool completely, we're going to let Teddy try them and see how he likes it. Okay, so the treats aren't hardened yet but they are cool. So, we're going to let Teddy taste them and see what he thinks. Alrighty. I'd say that's a thumbs up. Okay. So, while we were recording this video, I could sense a lot of people looking at my male physique apron. If you want to get your own, down below in the link, we're going to have our Amazon storefront and this beautiful apron will be one of the items you can purchase. Thank you for following this little cooking tutorial and we're going to bring you more. Have a good night.
