jane goodall - female british scientist most famous for her groundbreaking work researching and observing chimpanzees for 45 years. jane is also an author, environmentalist, as well as a un messenger of peace. she tours the world 360 days out of the year, giving lectures on conservation and animal welfare issues.
Dr. Anne LaBastille. Gwen's mentor since the 1970s. Gwen met and spoke with her at one of her book signings in Vermont. It was amazing how much we had in common, overlap in places we previously worked and where we had been wilderness camping and canoe camping!
