This is how I tied my Summer House Quilt. I am sure there are different ways of doing it but this worked out really well. I used Pearl Cotton #8 as a thread. Cut a long piece and thread a needle with a sharp point and relatively big eye but not to big. It is a bit fiddly to get the thread in but with patience it works.
