Jean-félix Desfossés on Instagram: "The Alabazam first showed up in 1878, in Leo Engel’s American and Other Drinks. I find it fascinating that, despite how close it is to the Sidecar — and the fact that Angostura bitters are a must for any respectable bartender — it’s the Sidecar, first printed in 1922, that ended up stealing the spotlight. What are your thoughts? Team Sidecar or Alabazam? 1.5 oz Cognac 0.5 oz Cointreau 0.75 oz Lemon juice 0.5 oz Simple syrup 0.25 tablespoon Angostura (sorry for the confusion, I sad teaspoon in the post but it’s tablespoon 😉) Cheers"
