A water bottle can act as a mini greenhouse for your seedlings by creating a warm and humid environment that helps protect them against possible frost! When a water bottle is placed over a seedling, it traps heat and moisture, creating a microclimate that is warmer and more humid than the surrounding air. This can prevent the seedling from being damaged or killed by frost, which occurs when temperatures drop below freezing and cause ice crystals to form in the plant’s cells. The water bottle also helps to protect the seedling from wind and other harsh weather conditions. To use a water bottle as a mini greenhouse, simply cut off the bottom of the bottle and place it over the seedling, making sure it is secure and won’t blow away. Make sure to take the bottle off before the sun
