A dehumidifier is a must in our book for an RV. We have had one in our 5th wheel for 5 years and we had to get one for the truck camper. This one is smaller, but this is also a very small space. You can also use moisture absorbers like DampRid. RV are not like homes and they have condensation and that needs to be prevented. This usually happens more in humid climates, but can happen anywhere in the winter. Reasons you need a dehumidifier in your RV: • 1. Keeps out moisture (and RVs enemy) • 2. Stops mold from growing • 3. Keeps your RV cooler in the summer 4. Can cause dry rot We run ours 24/7 and dump it at least once a week, depending on the time of year it could be once a day.
