Parks vs. Conservancies

Conservancies protect wildlife and support Indigenous rights and traditional land stewardship practices. The Maasai of Kenya have coexisted with wildlife over millennia. Many conservancies now partner with them to provide ethical ecotourism options. If and when you travel, look for organizations and businesses that collaborate with Indigenous peoples in a way that is reciprocal, rather than extractive or exclusionary. We all have the power to cultivate positive change.
