This lasagne is designed specifically for weight loss. Hence the lean beef, lentils and cottage cheese. I’ve done lots of experiments over the years and the breakthrough was the addition of lentils. It’s a game changer. You get a lot more fibre and volume. Nutrition - 4 x 500 kcal (51P, 55C, 8F) + 5g fibre A spray of oil One onion 2 garlic cloves 500g beef mince (5%) 2 beef stock cubes 500ml passata 50g red lentils 150g lasagna (8 sheets) 500g cottage cheese 0% (blended) 30g mozzarella Make up your beef mix first by frying the onion and garlic. Browning the beef. Then add the stock, passata and lentils. Some salt, pepper and herbs. Then let simmer for 30 minutes to reduce. Layer it up and cook for a good hour in the oven at 180C. Incredibly good cold. Epic weight loss food!!
