For the past decade, St. Louis band, Foxing, has been anchored by frontman Conor Murphy’s bittersweet songwriting and gymnastic vocals. In 2017, Murphy debuted his project Smidley by emerging with a self-titled album of bombastic, damaged indie-pop. Smidley, named after Murphy’s childhood black lab, is a project that pushes Murphy’s well-honed skill set to its extremes. The band’s Audiotree Live performance was our lightest, darkest, calmest and most chaotic session to date. Check out Smidley on Audiotree Live!
