It is terrific that someone brought back this 1982 session album and 2007 CD, giving the original recordings the kind of special work only possible with today's technology. Don Cherry was a great musician and composer, the range and depth of whose work well warrants keeping all available to successive generations. Likewise, Latif Khan is remarkable in his range--and the tabla playing on this recording is stunning. Bravo to all involved in bringing this project to fruition.
