  1. Valkyrja
    by State Azure
State Azure's top-shelf BandCamp discography is highly recommended. This 15 minute long track happens to be a big favorite of mine because of the Vangelis undertones. I regularly listen to it as well as the albums "Edge Of Forever", "Pale Light of a Hollow Moon", "The Light That Remains", "Cepheus Origin", "Rimtol" and "Motion Of Three". But his vast discography is packed with plenty of other gems too!
  2. Planetary Unfolding 2022 Remaster
    by Michael Stearns
As the Earth Kissed the Moon, excerpt from Planetary Unfolding As the Earth Kissed the Moon, excerpt from Planetary Unfolding
This timeless 1981 masterpiece by Michael Stearns features his brilliant work on the "Mighty Serge." This, along with CHRONOS, has been one of my heavy rotation albums for decades and it never gets old. For the uninitiated, I would highly recommend checking out Stearns' BandCamp discography, a treasure trove of recent and vintage releases by this ambient and electronic music master.

For You, Human (alt.version, Lumorae LP) For You, Human (alt.version, Lumorae LP)
Caught In Joy (Karol Pokojowczyk) offers a vast catalog with several impressive standalone albums, but it can be overwhelming to keep up with his work due the frenetic pace of his output. Here, he's taken a short breather to re-assess, re-edit and sequence the bulk of his key 2025 moments into a magnificent, seamless 6-hour compilation. It's a wonderful primer of his recent work and well-worth the purchase price for both old and new listeners alike.
  4. Stand Down
    by Data Rebel
    Stand Down Stand Down
This release from Data Rebel presents a wonderful balance of chilled beats, grooves, atmospherics and ambient soundscaping. The infectious title-track, "Stand Down" combines all of these elements in a way that should appeal to a wide gamut of electronic / ambient music listeners. A cohesive and fully enjoyable sonic journey, the album features a wide dynamic range, variety of tempos and thoughtful track sequencing.
  5. The Geometry of Quiet
    by Hyperspace Odyssey
Dmitry Redko's (aliases Hyperspace Odyssey, Astropilot) description for this album says he drew "inspiration from the spacious sound worlds of artists such as Steve Roach and State Azure." It's stunning to hear how effectively he managed to emulate the immersive and meditative atmospheres of Roach's mid-1980s ambient works with this release.

This Dream Too This Dream Too
The late A Produce's 2001 CD release SMILE ON THE VOID ranks as a Top-10 all-time ambient album for me. Although it doesn't appear to be available on Bandcamp, this outstanding retrospective features that album's "Smile On The Void","Night Curve" & "Inner Sanctum" plus a host of essential recordings and previously unreleased gems chronicling A Produce's innovative 80s, 90s and early 2000s output.
