    Macaque Macaque
As much as I respect Steve Albini, this is the better and definitive version of Comfort. I thought the album was fine when I listened to the original mix, but hearing this remix and remaster, the difference is night and day. I think Failure deciding to produce and mix their music themselves was the best possible thing they could have done. This album deserves more recognition, because no other Failure album really sounds like it. Awesome stuff as-per-usual.

    Awesome album cover. Awesome album.
  9. Fantastic Planet (Remastered)
    by Failure
Incredible mixing, incredible riffs, and some fan-fucking-tastic vocals. There is so much to this album that makes it special. It can smoothly shift between moods like with Pillowheads to Blank, and instantly give you a burst of energy like with Dirty Blue Balloons to Solaris. This album has brought me to tears, it's made me head bang so hard I nearly snap my neck, and provides the perfect tone for whatever I'm doing at any given time. I love Fantastic Planet, it is *the* Failure album.

    Apocalypse Blooms Apocalypse Blooms
Failure's *impeccable* mixing is shown yet again in this album, with such tight vocals and guitar tones. I cannot believe the final 5 tracks are as good as they are, with Apocalypse Blooms *easily* being my favorite of the album. Force Fed Rainbow being a close second.
  17. Promises
by Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders & The London Symphony Orchestra
This calms my nerves with such cold and delicate hands. I feel so safe listening to the soft strumming of strings and delicate saxophone wails from Pharoah Sanders. I fell in love with this piece the second he came in with his gorgeous winds.

Bring Back the Sound Bring Back the Sound
Another swing and another home run, the ball has been sent to space as is usually the case with Failure. This is the most inappropriately named band I've seen, they sound incredible and their mixing is unlike any other. They've helped me through so much at this point and I can't believe I hadn't heard of them sooner. Fuck, yes.
