Molly Nilsson keeps bringing out amazing albums one after the other. Out of all my parasocial relationships this is probably my favourite - as someone who also has been trying to carve my own path in life it is so inspiring to listen to her lyrical poetics and melodies that hit me right in the heart.

It's hard to quit in time

Being stuck at an empty Beijing airport during the bird flu pandemic in 2009 I never knew that the whole experience would be echoed a decade later - at a much more intense level. When I read about Molly's inspiration for the album title this image of my past popped back into my mind.

I have a hard time picking favourite tracks because I usually listen to albums as a whole and this album is great for that - like all her albums.
