Yam's polished performance in Great. is a testament to the group's artistry, chemistry, and hard work; each track represents a clever blend of art rock frame and punk core. The use of mixed-meter rhythms & vocals makes each instance of the guitar feel engaging and momentous. Ash's vocals are powerful and practiced, encouraging a poetic and empathetic contemplation of witty & timely lyrics. I chose Dogs as my favorite track because it's just fucking brilliant, but Workforce is also <3 peak punk.
