A classy old school performance. Dusko‘s tone & playing are just so good.

Let's Go Back Let's Go Back
Perfect blend of Mastersounds, Masterhorns & Master‘s voice. Always leaves me in a good mood.
  6. Khmer Live in Bergen
    by Nils Petter Molvær
Song of Sand Song of Sand
Unstoppable, robust, delicate, explicit. What a range. I was swept away and drawn in just by listening.
  7. Dogs Bark Babies Cry
    by Yoni Mayraz
    Darwish Records Darwish Records
Drums, bass, special guests and 50 shades of keys. Like the mixture of the unexpected and the familiar.
  8. In Between Revisited: Jazzanova Live
    by Jazzanova
No Use feat. Clara Hill (Little Big Beat Studio Live Session) No Use feat. Clara Hill (Little Big Beat Studio Live Session)
The fascination of in between continues. The present helps grasping the past. Like the live in it.

Across the Deep Across the Deep
Cool collaboration. I pretty much like Chads tone & playing anyway. Perfect mix with the Macedonian inspired elements. Everything can, nothing must.
  10. The Deplar Effect
    by The New Mastersounds
Hey, It's Alright Hey, It's Alright
Don‘t know about the Deplar effect but the New Mastersounds effect is obvious. One song after the other a bull‘s eye.

Thanks for the introduction to septology. Without the explanations, I would never have come across the underlying concept. After all, seamlessly converting elements of what you hear into a single soundtrack often happens on the receiving end. All in all, more than 343 good reasons to like this music. My number 1 reason is the sound of this trumpet.
  15. A Paradise In The Hold
    by Yazz Ahmed
A Paradise In The Hold A Paradise In The Hold
It's a magical mystery feel. Multilayered compositions. Some drumming. The vocal/vibraphone melodies in "Mermaids' Tears" evoking FZ associations / Oriental Prog? Surely an exciting journey.

Good to hear these fluent, expressive and connected (tp)sounds & phrases. It‘s needed up here.
  17. Out On The Coast
by The Sure Fire Soul Ensemble
Rise of the East Rise of the East
Three and more cultures performed together. With Common beat n groove. It can obviously be achieved.
  18. Lotus Glow (Deluxe)
    by Adi Oasis
    Serena Serena
Nice, groovy tunes. Charming bass and fluent drums go perfectly together, leading through a colourful sound. Love the lightness and the controlled restraint of it all and the live trio versions.

Mmmh, it's definitely full of live and doesn't smell funny.

Minimalism maximized. Really like the instrumentation on this one.
