Wow just wow. It's such a pleasure to be a long-time fan of a band and have said band create music for years and years and be able to hear them on an album like this - at their absolutely peak of songwriting and musicianship. It truly is special to hear a band recording something tremendous after doing it for so long and going through so much. You can hear the pain on this album. Death haunts the tracklist. And yet, there is an ember of solace knowing that loved ones are resting soundly.

Man that horn hook on the title track is tremendous! Feel like running a marathon when it kicks in. Paradoxically the mood on that song and the rest of the LP is typically sad, introspective and remorseful. This is Aaron at his worst - hurting people close to him, self-medicating with copious amounts of alcohol, being absent from family and ruining opportunities for his fledgling band. Although there is a light in the dark and hope for Aaron to do the work, fix his life and find genuine peace.

A fun, fast and loud album from long-time pop punkers Neck Deep. Enjoyable listen throughout and I would say a return to their classic sound. You've got silly fun songs about voluntary alien abductions (Take Me With You), more serious jams about facing your inner child (Moody Weirdo) and big break-up songs (Sort Yourself Out). Solid output! Great production and guitar tones as well.
