The album sounds like a great ode to the late Jon Hassel. And these three artists are not alone in this - see for instance the later works of Andrew Pekler. I love to hear this new music because these harmonious sounds bring me joy. The computer age gave great diversity in new sounds - but it seemed as if there was more emphasis on rhythm and these new sounds and less on melody and harmony. But not so with these artists.
