    So... April Rain. There's some unabashed melodic genius here. The chord progressions, the way the songs suddenly burst into a whole fucking other level of intensity, this innate sense of the timing... those are all qualities that were already present in April Rain's earlier releases - but they shine really bright in this album. I love it.
