  3. Dark Sky
    by Phaeleh
This album has serious old school/ nu school vibes. I'm getting hints of mid-to-late-2000s Seb Taylor /Kaya Project in 'Aether's Embrace' and 'Obscura', and 'Velms' takes me back to L.T.J. Bukem circa 1996. Some of the more expansive ambient tracks like 'Dark Sky Pt. 1' mirror Stellardrone around 2013. 'Nova' whispers of Tycho, similar era. And of course, the signature Phaeleh magic is woven throughout :)

This track would slay at an outdoor sunrise set. Super heart opening and energetically expansive. Classic Suduaya 👌

    Norupo Norupo
    This album is primordial medicine.

While Norupo and Traust are prima facie my favourite tracks, Hamrer Hippyer is a contender. It takes me back to my days as a carefree hippy at Australian bush doofs (forest raves). Many of the Goa trance and Suomi Saudi (“Finnish sound”) progressive trance tracks of that era (early 2000s) were identical to the beats in Hamrer Hippyer. No wonder I found those parties so transformative and healing. Also, Hamrer has elements of modern metal that fascinate me.

Obsessed with this track. Sublime, delicate beauty.
