I've been looking forward to hearing this album because Spad has always been involved in making such exciting music. it's great to hear what he does when given free reign. I need to listen a lot more to get to know the intricacies, but am loving the overall vibe and melodies. So considered and vibey and love the balance of acoustic vs electronic.

Thanks for the beautiful music Karine and Dave. it's been a while since I've felt so emotional listening to a new album. Every lyric is so beautifully supported by the piano parts.

such a great selection of tunes and some real earworms. I've really enjoyed getting my ears round this album! The instruments all sound great, and sounds live toe which I love.

After the last year, this album has captured the things I have missed most about playing music; connection, meeting and learning from folk, listening, communicating through music and the natural magic and energy that happens when you get musicians in a room. I love how natural this all feels, and how the focus shifts from musician to musician. Thanks for the music!

I absolutely loved this gig live which is why I bought the record. What an album! The crossovers are epic, and totally representative of my experience of living in Glasgow as a musical city. I haven't heard too many collabs between the folk and jazz scenes here, but the ones I've seen are so alive and playful. This music makes me think of stumbling on a full blown pros jam session in a pub somewhere in Glasgow because of its energy, but the arrangements are feckin awesome!
