Dregs of a Bitter Cup Dregs of a Bitter Cup
Years ago, I saw kanashiipanda's animation "Guardian" using Makkon's track "Dregs of a Bitter Cup" which is part of this album.
    youtu.be/WRiPItZaue4

Unsurprisingly, it's not the only track I like in this collaborative album which holds a whopping 44 tracks.

As a bonus, this album comes with some art, a ReadMe and a Sandwich saying Farts...?

I know this album from MisterDavey's infamous "Smile" flash animation (warning: gore & violence) which uses this album's Smile remix.

Turns out that I really like most of this album's tracks.

Back then I downloaded it for free and now I wanted to have it in my Bandcamp collection. Thank you for the nice tunes and making them available to everyone, Foozogz.

Pills Here 2 (L4D Remix) Pills Here 2 (L4D Remix)
On YouTube I stumbled on the Pills Here 2 video which is a huge improvement to its previous version.
    youtu.be/Ncq7PLB6kk0

I often come up with stupid, small melodies while waiting at long loading screens. But Johnny Medlar actually made a full track.

I also like the Vode An metal remix, my favourite track in Star Wars: Republic Commando.

  5. Pony Island OST
    by Jonah Senzel
    The Machine The Machine
I like equines and stumbled onto Pony Island through some Humble Bundle years ago. It was intriguing, had nice gameplay twists, riddles, traps, and a mysterious background story.

I bought the soundtrack on Steam in 2018 but disovered it only now on Bandcamp too, hoping for superior quality in the FLAC files.

Pony Island's soundtrack is fitting, adding to the atmosphere, and appreciated.

    Favourites:
    1 Pony Island

Really Cool Wig Really Cool Wig
    BRODYQUEST, silly and nonsensical.
    youtu.be/ygI-2F8ApUM

As a follow-up the Mashup Megamix.
And finally the "I'm So Fresh, You Can Suck My Nuts SWAG" take on this piece (by another artist).
    It really got viral.

Oh, the rest of this album is similarly mad.
    Even worse, I guess.

Eventually I learned that I dig "Really Cool Wig" even more than BRODYQUEST.

    The official memetic video::
    youtu.be/CZlfbep2LdU

Not only is the track funny and light-hearted but the artists really put some work into their creation. On top of that it comes with a catchy hard beat.

The YouTube comment edition is even better to me as it is less repetitive due to the addition of more onomatopoeia and animals. Find it here:

Without the lyrics it feels indeed incomplete. I still got it for completion. Version with lyrics here:

But you can use it for karaoke or to make meme derivatives like this one:

The YouTube comment edition shines with the addition of more onomatopoeia and animals. It simply is less repetitive without sacrificing the piece's qualities. Find the original here:

Got this for Flutterwonder as I really like Fluttershy's voice and unlike some other songs, none of the lyrics sound like actual phrases to me.

    by space stallions
Space, horses, bikes, ships, 1980's heroes, lasers, eggs, robots, an evil scalie, and a better love story than Twilight; any questions?

The leader's sword is able to morph into a keytar and he's actually playing the more complex riff.

Great work by "The Animation Workshop".

A pity there's no version with the sounds/speeches which fit well into the track and add up to the experience.

Twilight Sparkles Theme (MLP-Fighting Is Magic) Twilight Sparkles Theme (MLP-Fighting Is Magic)
The instruments are appropriate to the nature of the respective characters. The incorporation of Daniel Ingram's melodies gives a reference to the series and allows you to immerge into the world of MLP.

A shame that the game got shut down.

  13. The Clash
    by Tytolis
Knowing Tytolis from the merp song - and further iterations of it - I wondered if they would have a bandcamp album with all their merp songs. I found none. Instead I discovered "The Clash" and "Theory B".

It is a powerful orchestral/electronic piece but a bit repetitive, unfortunately. The smashing blowers, the quieter organ/xylophone duo, and even the choir alternate between each other to perform the same melody.

Knowing Tytolis from the merp song - and further iterations of it - I wondered if they would have a bandcamp album with all their merp songs. I found none. Instead I discovered "The Clash" and "Theory B".

This one's more dynamic due to a higher range of leading instruments having different melodies (flute/violin duo, saxophone, piano). Accompanied by choir and percussion. Sometimes intermissioned by heavy blowers.

  15. Half Age EP
    by Weval
    Rooftop Paradise Rooftop Paradise
I discovered the game Tharsis years ago and played it again recently. So I wondered if one could acquire the original soundtrack. Half Age EP is the soundtrack, but apparently the lyrics had been removed for the game, thus I'm a little disappointed as it is a tad less atmospheric, desolate and dreary with the voices. Maybe Weval could retroactively add the versions without lyrics to this album, that would be nice.

  16. Marble Machine
    by Wintergatan
    What shall I say?
    In short, it's amazing.

Martin Molin is a virtuoso, genious, inventor, engineer, technician and more. They put so much effort into this.
Composing, playing, designing, programming all done by him.

Check out the band Wintergatan, they have more contraptions other than this Marble Machine and also further dreamy tracks to offer.

Watch the Marble Machine playing that catchy tune here:
