    Blistered Figure Blistered Figure
Brain-piercing emotional heaviness! These songs do everything I love about grind, while going 200% apeshit with energy on vocal and instrumental, while also having an actually good mix? I am genuinely impressed with this album <3
  3. In The Depths of My Demise
    by Frozen Night
Still an exceptionally beautiful and captivating triad of tracks all these years later. Besides the amazing instrumental I have to commend the sound effects used, adding to the dramatic nature of the theme.
  4. Brilliant Venture - Legacy : In the Mix
    by Brilliant Venture
Very much the definitional electronic pony music album for me. It's got wubstep, it's got vocal trance, it's got melodic d&b, pony vocal chops, remixes of both fandom classics and the show - practically everything to experience the distinct spiritual core of the brony music scene. Big ups to B.V. for being able to capture that spirit so well in their music.
  5. Ascension (Ambient Ver.)
    by Totalspark
Captivating, dreamy and comfy piece, very nice for listening before bed. Puts away many worries of a difficult day that has passed.

Sweet melancholy at it's finest, really good stuff!
  7. In Her Mind
    by Seventh Element
    Shadows Shadows
Listening to this album while confined to the bed with shivering and severe headache - is something else. Really captures the intended feeling of being trapped inside your own body and mind, being unable to do anything except thinking about the grim and helpless situation you're in.
  8. The Spider, the Frog, and the Porpoise
    by Niłch'i
I find these works to be really effective mind cleansers, especially at night. Not conventional, but this only makes them more interesting.
  9. green house. (Album)
    by Tw3Lv3
Hard to find words for how fully I adore this album. Not only does it show immense love to an underappreciated genre in the fandom - hip hop - but also does it with remarkable level of both production quality and good vibes.

And not just hip hop - d&b and house, all tracks on this album are so well-made and nice and full of flavour, that it is difficult to imagine one person making all of it. Really just golden work all around.
  10. Terraria Soundtrack

It's a very nice soundtrack. I listen to it in the background at work, along with Minecraft and Ori. Somehow it makes me productive!

A hood classic, as the kids say.
  12. I: Tales of The Crescent Moon
    by Frozen Night
Very lovely stuff when going on a bike ride, especially in the evening. The raw beauty and power of nature seeps through every track, overtaking the listener and motivating them to overcome any obstacle.
  13. All You Need
    by Blackened Blue
Listening to this song a lot lately and oh boy, it really had NO right to go THIS hard. Truly terrific nu-goodness on all possible levels 🧪
  14. Equestrium
    by Tripon
One of those albums that become better after every listen. A true fest of wild neuro sound design wrapped in d&b percussion, "Equestrium" is really a complete journey from one end of the MLP series to another in a gritty, fast-paced music form that Tripon has been known for and excelling for years. Much thankful and would recommend to anyone!

    P. S. My favorite was "Tyrant" but those bitter-sweet M6 songs really got to me after awhile, so I won't pick a favorite. They're all great :)

In The Midst Of What I Could Never Grasp, Won't You Be My Extra Pair of Wings? In The Midst Of What I Could Never Grasp, Won't You Be My Extra Pair of Wings?
Really wanted to go through this one at some point, specifically because of the unusually charming and melodic intro. Can say, I was not disappointed and was very much impressed by the album!

Nutty and highly emotional vocals, with fast and chaotic yet heavily melancholic 8-bit melodies, together make for a very specific kind of feeling of despair that I just want to endlessly empathize with.

Fascinating, that strong works like these often come from the darkest thoughts of ours...

    by Niłch'i
I really-really like this one. This track has a very cozy and wacky Halloween carnival feel about it. Wouldn't be out of place in a chill but fun indie game with horror elements, like Night in the Woods (very much reminded of good times with that game). Overall, very-very nice one!
  17. Pontextual
    by PSFMer
Still my favorite dark techno track in this community (at least from the ones I know, because there aren't many). I just keep coming back to it, the beat drive, the atmosphere, the quality - are all top-notch in my book.
  18. Somepony To Cry With
    by PHES
One of those songs that make you feel melancholic out of nowhere, but also, strangely — make you feel better when you're sad...

A strong bop, that takes the sampled song in a more amplified direction, both with instrumentation and emotion-wise. Probably helps that it samples the sensitive pone.
  19. Novagrove

    Mother Songbird Mother Songbird
To be fully honest, I've been avoiding going through this EP for a while, fearing that "this kind of progressive metal won't be my thing", but boy-oh-boy was I wrong...

Novagrove might have the most beautiful and enlivening sound I've ever heard in a metal album, period? I genuinely can't remember another metal project that possesses such a strong spirit, even if I've heard one. I hope this album stands the test of time cuz it really feels like something that the world needs to see.

Extremely well-produced folk metal pony album with a great focus on cultural expression and energetic storytelling! :)
