seeing them live absolutely blew me away. literally felt like I was being indoctrinated LOLOL and this album has the same effect. one of the best albums of the year thus far
this album proves how immensely and consistently skilled as an artist johanna is. her vision is so clear and executed deftly on the tracks of "Lessons for Mutants". was on rotation for me all summer
such a fantastic album, soaked in the angst and warmth of coming of age. charlie's lyricism seriously never fails. super interesting production from marshall, too.
