This sounds like if someone was sitting 20 lightyears away with a bunch of radios and having noticed that most songs they receive regularly repeat, trying to tune and manipulate the radios in such a way to make new music. Pretty interesting, definitely approaching Since I Left You by The Avalanches, albeit it not as perfectly executed and with a way more specific selection of source material, largely radio and internet hits of the past 2 decades, which might put you off or turn you on even more.
