Like lots of people, I suspect, this was my introduction to Of Montreal, back when it first released. Me and my small band of friends fell in love with the album and the band and it is now firmly ensconced in my memories of a very special, somewhat golden, youthful time in my life. I still genuinely love the music and purchasing this 20th anniversary vinyl felt like something of a no-brainer. I think Hissing Fauna might be their best but Sunlandic Twins might be my favorite.

I don’t use Spotify much but a place I sometimes work at uses it and after listening it this album like 4 times, I figured I owed em a purchase. Catchy, fuzzy, sweet, sticky. Good album! “Love on the outside” is an earworm in particular but it’s all good.

It’s a Friday evening in May 2025 on the northern border of Chicago, Illinois, USA and my family and I are grooving to the peaceful and soulful tunes of Keanu Nelson. Love it.

Over the last few years, Geotic has become one of my absolute favorites.

What can i say that hasn't already been said? Album of last year for me by a wide margin. The youtube gapless video? Listened to it a ton in my basement lair/office. The geocities downloadable album? Downloaded, put into itunes, and onto my phone and listened to it a ton. Finally, I have "paid the dealer". A really special and amazing achievement. Thanks Pat!

A beautiful gem of an album. Emotional and unique. I suspect this will be my most listened to album of this fall and winter, with Rakkasjokk being a definite highlight for me. Listening to it makes me wish I could roam the rivers and mountains of Daniel’s Sweden. Thanks for the great music. Looking forward to digging into the Sing A Song Fighter label’s roster.
