The title of this album could actually hold a double meaning, as it channels an era of underground hip hop that has gone neglected in a time where so many underground acts have such similar aesthetics, and in that way it’s a breath of fresh air. It seems like an intimate and personal body of work. You can tell a lot of care went into this.
