The story that created this album is my journey into fatherhood. Each piece of music is a letter to my Rio de Luz, the boy who showed me the path to the River of Light and, upon entering world, created this music.
River of Light came to fruition when I heard solo hurdy-gurdy played by Matthias Loibner. He not only sung through his instrument but painted with it. Matthias’s ability to express my feelings from joy to pain to exhilaration, is what made it possible to bring this album to you.
