Man, I love this album. I don’t know what else to say about it. I keep going back and finding new things. The song craft is truly top-tier. The one I think of right now is: “what’s it going to take” when the backup vocal calls out the time of night/ day in response to what is being said in the main vocal. Raw, beautiful and clever.
One more thing: the guitar playing is really excellent.
