    Black Water Black Water
This was a milestone in Apparat’s career imo. The vocals becoming a main focus, the brilliant blend of acoustic instruments with electronics, and the overall pop/song structures that make this such a solid and amazing album. I own the special edition book CD of this but I had to add this to my Bandcamp collection. One of my all time favorite albums, and the reason I can’t wait for Apparat’s new album in 2026!

Like the Fourth Wall Like the Fourth Wall
This album displays astonishing power, precision, and emotive qualities in the math rock/progressive realm. The vocal tracks add such an emotional quality that are a perfect balance from the guitar onslaughts. I actually broke down in tears from the cathartic power and lyrics of the track “Like the Forth Wall”. Stunning, and filled with a visceral quality that really grabs the soul tightly.

It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to electronica/IDM as dense, playful, and accomplished as this album. It’s evident that these bros know what they are doing. Just fantastic hyper detailed brisk tracks that show a passion for electronic sounds. This collection of absolute ear candy just serves to elevate Bricolage’s roster even more. Massively impressive and inspirational material.

Great to hear new material from múm, although much of the album is quite sparse. Tracks 2,3 and 5 are the core of the album, with beautiful vocals and melodies. Sadly the remaining tracks are very unmemorable. This is an example of material teetering over the edge from charming to lethargic. Hopefully the experience as an full album will grow on me, but for now I just play those 3
