It's been a long time since I've heard an album so full of ideas, so varied and yet so homogeneous. Homogeneous doesn't mean that everything sounds the same, but that the styles (something like technical Dream Theater with a fusion foundation) fit together without this "patchwork" feeling of the typical style mixers. J M Ivanyi himself refers to this as amalgamation which is the most appropriate word here.
