The objective of Toon Martens Project is to create music with interesting:
- Style: classic progressive rock + mix different styles
- Instrumentation: progressive rock (acoustic and electric pianos, hammond, mellotron, minimoog,...) + other textures
- Rhythm: beyond 4/4
- Harmony: beyond 3 chords
- Dynamics: most music nowadays is heavily compressed - we prefer keeping natural dynamics
