I have no words to explain my love for this album. After spotty listens, my girlfriend bought me the red smoke vinyl set as an anniversary gift. I am truly stunned by everything now that I am truly paying attention. The emotion is deep and heartfelt, the technicality is present, the vocals blend into the bleak, melancholic atmospheres this band built their style upon, and I cannot begin to explain how perfectly each piece falls into place. This album is at the top of its class. I'm in awe.
Accidentally annoyed my girlfriend into getting this for me. I am in love with this stellar album. Up North, Thunderous, Wild Father's Heart and Lights are going to stick in my mind possibly a little too much. So much melody and beauty with the moments of aggression carried from the band's past generations. Strongly suggested with Fall, Urd, Quintessence and the self-titled release!!
Just found this and honestly, I'm astonished by the atmosphere and sound that almost depicts a horror movie. It definitely does fit the ambient tag. Excellent creation.
Slams like a mofo and it's fun. The grooves, the breakdowns, the melodies in Malfeasance and Conviction, the technicality, the vocals, it all is just so much to enjoy. Excellent band, excellent album, excellent art!!
One of my favorite Lorna Shore songs. I love Pain Remains, Immortal, Psalms, ...And I Return to Nothingness and I like Flesh Coffin, but this? This is incredible.
One of my favorite albums. I tirelessly play this and it never gets old. Melody meets technicality in such a spectacular form I never anticipated. Unbelievable.
This album is one of my favorite deathcore pieces yet. Everything flows so smoothly, it all feels so fresh and unique, and the symphonic elements add such great atmosphere. The second band I ever bought a t-shirt from. Absolutely killer!
