This album took me by surprise: I asked bandcamp to shuffle everything and picked the first cover on the page to speak anything to me. The back-to-back bangers of Call Me Montezuma and Songs of Triumph made my mind up before I'd even finished a first listen of the album. Highly recommended.
The more introspective-feeling A side contrasts heavily with the anxious and urgent B side - it's not an album that captures a singular feeling, but more of a crescendo.
Jen played last year at my local venue and absolutely stole the show. This EP is full of great tracks - ones I hope to hear live again in the near future
