One of the most beautiful things we possess is our ability to move freely, whether in nature or in the interaction between people, plants, animals, or materials... an inexhaustible wealth of possibilities lies open to us. And whoever does so will find profound joy within themselves.

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing performances by the Mimenstudio e.V. Dresden. Every year in November, the Mimenstudio organizes an international festival in Dresden featuring fantastic artists.

The Mimenstudio Dresden e.V. was founded in 1999 and emerged from the Mimenbühne Dresden, which was founded in 1982. 

It does a fantastic job. 

Sports clubs are also doing a very good job, as demonstrated by the Saxon Gymnastics Club - STV - this past weekend. They hosted the Saxon Championships in Chemnitz, this year's cultural capital.

To our great delight, our team fought their way to first place. The gymnasts are a truly wonderful community.

My grandchildren are in the gymnastics club, and the competitions in the various cities always include a small family reunion for us, in addition to the joy of the sporting event.

Preparations for the Christmas season are in full swing everywhere… The first Sunday of Advent is already on the last day of this month.

Anticipation – the greatest joy!

 Morning joy

I know the photo didn't turn out well, but I wanted to share my joy at seeing the migratory birds this morning. It's simply wonderful how loudly they chatter, making it impossible to miss them as they fly by. It's a magnificent sight to watch them trajectory across the sky – at 40 to 60 kilometers per hour. That's why there isn't much time for taking photos. A moment of pure bliss. Thank you.

This robin will stay with me; my garden is part of its territory, and I will take care of it in winter.

Just like this beautiful great tit that is never alone.

And the neighbor's pretty cat knows... the birds are off-limits...

Because bathing is still very popular, especially when the sun shines and the colors of autumn are on full display.

But today the sky is grey and it's drizzling, so I'm going to turn my attention to the quilt top. That's the first row.

The harmony of the day

 This weekend, I visited the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts' exhibition of stage and costume design at the Palais des Großen Gartens. The Great Garden, located in the heart of Dresden, covers approximately 2 square kilometers and combines Baroque elements with English landscape garden design. It was laid out in 1676 on the orders of the then Elector Johann Georg III, based on French models.

The weather had been dull and rainy all week, so I was waiting for sunshine, and the weekend blessed us all with it... sunshine and blue skies.

There is a park railway...

and three open-air theaters... this is the smallest – the Sun House – where puppet shows are performed. When my children were small, I rode my bike to the shows with them... very often... it was wonderful :-)))

Before I visited the art students' exhibition, I came to the dahlia garden on Fürstenallee... 

Is this a dream?

It's a dream.

I enjoyed it and only photographed a small portion; there are over 60 different varieties.

This magpie also enjoys its kingdom.

I gave her some of my supplies - California almonds.
