Acheté à l'écoute de Sorrowed, un morceau qui ferait douter, puis vous accompagne pour avancer fièrement dans l'inconnu. Corpse lights semble peut-être prendre une direction plus musclée et sombre que le précédent album, mais on peut déjà y déceler les morceaux prêts à exploser et vous emporter en live.

Been craving more from this band ever since stumbling onto Penumbra years back, and the new album absolutely meets the mark set by their first.
Favorite track: The Derelict.

It has taken me years to appreciate Psychonaut’s approach to progressive metal, which is equal parts post-metal and psychedelic, but now, as I have come to realise, they are a lot more distinct-sounding and coherent than several of their contemporaries. I do see some similarities to The Ocean (which is probably why I finally like Psychonaut), but the music here is less busy, less aggressive, and a bit warmer. World Maker sadly features one bad song, but the rest are total fire! Powerful stuff.
