mattyreavey83 What cracker of colourful sounds by the psychedelic, technicolour sonic dream scape creator that is Ben Tangle. Canopy creatures is an absolute stand out. Don't know why but it reminds me of my childhood, back to the front room, the coal and wood fire and evenings of the Phillips turntable and my parents playing their music of Genesis, Floyd, Camel, Kate Bush .To do that is an absolute gift. Everyone should treat their ears to this and Benny's music, the purveyor of stunning of words sounds. Favorite track: Canopy Creatures.

The self titled ‘Ben Tangle’ is a psych-folk musical landscape laden with an air of magic and mysticism. It explores ideas of resilience in chaotic times through optimism and self empowerment. It emboldens the power of the imagination in times of arid creativity and despondence in mainstream society, and brings with it a message of hope and fortitude. Recorded entirely in a custom fit tiny narrowboat studio it is unique in its essence whilst giving a nod to some of the great 60's and 70's psychedelic artists. The artwork is created by Lee Dixon and depicts a characterised illustration of Ben as he traverses his inner landscapes, the inner sleeve containing the lyrics to each track.
