The game felt cozy yet at the same time unsettling. I did like how the game felt!
SPOILERS - do not read until you play the game !
LOVE LOVE LOVE the atmosphere, art, story, and sound design of this game - especially as someone who lives in a secluded travel trailer "alternative community" and loves opossums, this is sooo cute and just the right amount of horror to perfect the creepiness and the relatability of the people involved in the story.
I get a lot from this game, an interesting perspective on grief, loss, abuse, cult dynamics, and the damaged souls "too resistant" or "too stubborn" to be lured into cult
I think the choice of oppossums for the creature is beautiful - an animal that only lives 1-3 years, has no defense mechanism other than to play dead, and wears a white "mask of death." It's a short, mostly peaceful life scavenging from carcasses and rot, perhaps symbolizing the recycling of pain, grief, and death that these folks were unable to contend with in life.

This was creepy, and I love it. Don't understand it a whole lot, though my theory right now is that Bill is killing them and somehow an opossum crawls out of their body
What my theory is, that Its like a cult that transforms humans into Opossum.
Everybody in that trailers are people who lost people or looking to get away from society.
Bill is somewhat a good guy, that helps these people shed their skin and turn into Free wild creatures (Opossums).
We player comes along and kills these opossums that were once human who wanted to be free in wild.

This was creepy but really fun! I loved the visual style, and the gameboy vibes were too accurate.
A terrific pixel based horror game that doesn't linger after the party's over. I honestly didn't see the ending coming and was surprised who I felt bad for.
This was great, unsettling, interesting- with just the right amount of uncomfortable art to really sell the story. Definite recommend for anyone who likes a short pixelated horror.
