The program is meant to assist in creating music for hUGEdriver to be used on the Nintendo Gameboy hombrew development including Gbdk, Rgbds and Gb Studio. Is meant to encourage talented LSDj musicians to get involved with composing for homebrew games, specifically for Gb Studio.
LSDj 2 UGE can import all the notes laid down in an LSDj project into a hUGETracker .uge file format. It preserves the note values, octaves and instrument assignment. A manual is included with post-conversion suggestions. It's also very useful for hUGEDriver musicians who'd like to copy the waves from LSDJ songs (using the -i flag).

after an hour or so of searching, this is the only project that is a direct converter without all the ‘to-midi-to-mod’ converting hoops
