I started releasing music 3 years ago to share my passion for the darker character of the acoustic guitar exemplified in dark-folk, neo-folk and black metal. A Withering Eden was an idea I had even before commencing the channel, and many of the songs were written when I was still in high school. The album takes inspiration from Genesis, but it is more of a meditation on the nature of suffering and the human condition than a retelling or narrative. Although the composition of these songs span many years, I recently re-recorded them and wrote the remaining parts for the incomplete pieces.
