I'm sitting on my deck at 5:06 am; it's 52°F/11°C, humid but calm, and the stars and planets seem brighter than usual (Jupiter in particular, just risen over the trees, could almost cast shadows all on its own). I'm fortified against the cool weather with a hoodie, a snifter of vanilla cognac, and this, Helge's lovely final album... and I am at peace. I feel genuinely soothed in a way I haven't felt in such a long time. Sincere thanks to all who helped see this album through to its release.

I rarely try to find translations for the Italian titles in the Lᴏɴᴛᴀɴᴏ Series -- I enjoy the freedom of interpretation afforded me when the music is essentially untitled. Nevertheless, it is quite apparent this is an album of intensely-felt private explorations of people and places, moments and monuments...an impressive collection of artworks.
