A tune which somehow brings together a couple of somewhat pompose guitar melodies with a cheesy disco beat. But hey he works and it got the album engineer, the most marvellous Luke Pickering dancing at his mixing desk. An experiment in finding a thread through three completely different riffs. Which leads to a dance off with a backbeat that returns a purposeful compliment back to both Bloc Party and Foals.

I have always described Godspeed You! Black Emperor as music for people who have gone through hell and made it out the otherside. You did not come through unscathed, your tired and your scared. But there is hope, there is hope that maybe things can be better. You're terrified of what tomorrow holds but through sheer force of will you'll take one more step forward. Again and again, until one day your out. You will get out. foresttt_png
