You are saying cryptocurrency and not bitcoin, i hope you know that there are so many cryptocurrencies, of which meme coins and other shitcoins are also a part of, so i would definitely not compare real estate with shitcoins like that.

That being said, if you are talking about bitcoin, then there could be a conversation, though it is difficult to compare investments that do not have intrinsic properties. Investing in real estate is expensive... in some cases, it can be extremely expensive. You can start investing in cryptocurrencies with a minimal amount of money... so someone doesn't have to buy all of Bitcoin right away, you can buy a small part to start with, while you can't buy a part of the property, like just a toilet, for example.

But if someone already has a lot of money and is wondering whether one or the other is better... well, the answer is simple, diversification! You invest some in real estate, some in crypto, and some gold just in case... the more different investments you have, the safer you are.

comparing the two types of investment may be unnecessary because each person will have a different understanding of the type of investment that they feel is better than the other, for example if you ask someone who understands crypto, maybe they will see that investing in crypto is better than real estate, and vice versa, people who have jumped in and felt the profit from real estate will see that investing in crypto is like a money game. so this debate will never end.

the point is whether investing in crypto or real estate is equally good, but both investments have risks, and a person can choose which investment he can understand better.

In my opinion, cryptocurrency is gonna a better one when it comes to investments, it just way better on every way, even though I am going to invest on real estate, cryptocurrency is just a easy investment that you could easily do even though you dont have a huge amount of money, compared that to real estate that would could you probably thousands or millions or dollars in investment, not to mention its tax etc. I mean real estate for sure is going to be safer than cryptocurrency when it comes to risk, tangible assets like real estate or a house probably is going to be a great investment especially if your going to make it as a passive income, probably you could make it into some kind of business where it come generate income, it would for sure going to be great since it generates continues income without or just getting a very low risk. Cryptocurrency in the other hand just doesnt have that kind of guarantee since we dont know what could happened in the future, a war could easily start and this market could easily drop thousands of dollars or worst could not exist anymore in the future.

For me both is a great investments, the key is to invest on both and diversify your funds, I'm planning to buy real estate using my cryptocurrency though im not planning to sell all of my cryptocurrency but the end game is going to be real estate since its tangible assets, but still I would diversify and buy everything that is going to generate or give passive income.

I can only speak of the situation in my country. As far as price appreciation is concerned, real estate can't outpace Bitcoin. But the good thing about real estate is that its growth is consistent, there isn't volatility, and the risk is low.

If we're talking of a piece of land in the city or nearby with great road access, its value could increase around 300% to 500% in a decade. There's only a small chance its value would decrease. Here, where the population is huge, land is coveted.

So, if it's saving money for generations, real estate would be a good option. I guess it's better than gold and Bitcoin. People would always need a place to stay and do business.

I like crypto more because it's liquid, and you know the price, unlike real estate where the price is coming from your perceived value but this perceived value can greatly differ to the market, the real estate market is illiquid if you don't sell it below market price and nobody got that much of money, meanwhile you can literally sell your millions dollar worth of bitcoin in just few second and you got your liquidity already.

the growth of bitcoin is also explosive, from this alone already making me refrain from investing in real estate. aside from the fact that it requires big money.

Real estate can be more stable but it depends on the location it can be unsafe and your investment has no value. Take for example, in developing countries many real estate objects drop in value due to economic conditions, crime, and regulatory issues, which cause real estate objects to experience problems. While with Bitcoin, although in the short term the price movement can be more uncertain, if you put it in the long term then the volatility issue will not be a problem, and your investment can be more adjusted to your financial condition.

It is not about just providing ROI to investors, it is about sustainability for the long term, OP is comparing crypto with real estate, mind you that real estate is a long term sustainable investment, now most altcoins are short term coins, even meme coins can provide ROI to some investors, but is it a coin that you can advise someone to hodl for the long term? No, because it is a pump and dump shitcoin.

Both are supreme investment usually for long term investment purposes and you tend to get alot of benefits having invested in them but basically you can't compare crypto currency to that of real estate cause they are far different from each other so are their benefits but they can be similar in a way tho, but you can't underestimate the thoughts of people to what they prefer cause we all have different perspective and we give different conclusions over matters. But I can't tell the fate of both of them as their existence has made alot of impacts in the society so not too sure about one outshining the other.
