Nickie Harte Kelly Lead guitarist for Neo-Prog band, Airbag, has released this solo recording, and as expected, there is plenty of guitar goodness all through it. He brings in other musicians to fill out the band, as well as being joined at times by a female vocalist. The lyrics are thoughtful and often mournful, with a wealth of dynamic tension and release, musically. It becomes more striking with each listen, as, deceptively, there is much to ponder here. Favorite track: Everything to Everyone.

Listen to this album is like floating in the space that unites this dimension with the rest of the universe. A reconnection to the whole. Pure love... Favorite track: Lay Me Down.

Don’t know how to review an album - but to me Bjorn's voice seems strong - the album flows so naturally - each note is meant - every space means something - I hear and enjoy the same and something different each time I listen
The core is good songs - well played & produced - it seems to me that Bjorn made the best possible album that he could

Airbag co-founder, songwriter and lead guitarist, Bjørn Riis is ready with a new studio album titled “Everything to Everyone”.
It features six striking tracks, all dealing with human emotions and the fear of losing one self in the constant effort to meet every, often perceived, expectation.

“I was inspired by Dante’s Inferno when I started to write. A bit pretentious perhaps, but I’ve always been fascinated by that very personal journey and the search for some kind of piece or redemption, while being both mentored and hurt along the way. Musically, I wanted to take the listener on that journey, experiencing both hope and anxiety.”

In addition to Bjørn’s vocals and celebrated guitar playing, Everything to Everyone feature appearances from Henrik Bergan Fossum (Airbag), Kristian Hultgren (Wobbler), Simen Valldal Johannessen (Oak) and Norwegian singer/songwriter Mimmi Tamba.

Once again, Bjørn has teamed up with long-time collaborator Vegard Kleftås Sleipnes, who co-produced the album with Bjørn, engineered and mixed it. Jacob Holm-Lupo (White Willow and The Opium Cartel) mastered the album.
