Even at 80 years old, Pharoah Sanders played his tenor sax with the conviction of a gospel preacher. Every second of this album is arrestingly beautiful. As far as I'm concerned, this is essential listening for anyone who considers themselves a fan of music. 3sidesinasquare
I'm old enough to have seen late night cartoon network evolve into adult swim. almost two and a half decades ago, Tycho made a casual, almost nameless debut on a couple of different adult swim bumps. I believe they were "awake", " a walk" and "adrift". since finding your name some years later as a late teen, i've been opened up to a world of music I would have never known existed. Thank You, Tycho. thank you, thank you, thank you, for putting your name out there on a timeless platform. super_bean
For many years this has been my go-to album when I just need to sit back and relax for a while.
I like how it switches from tranquil lofi to jaw-dropping orchestral epicness to groovy electronic beats and back again, all in a perfect balance.
